LCM student Mariska Steele received a scholarship from CrimeStoppers this week in a ceremony at the Foundation for Southeast Texas Auditorium.
Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas offers a limited number of $1,000 Larry Beaulieu Scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors whose parent, step-parent, or legal guardian is a law enforcement officer in the organization’s service area. The scholarship honors the leadership of the organization’s founding chairman, Larry Beaulieu, and supports the education and development of law enforcement officers’ children.
