Mary F. Brown, age 87, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Funeral service to honor Mary will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Dorman Funeral Home; Pastor Daniel Ray officiating. Rite of committal and interment will immediately follow, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park, in Orange, Texas. Visitation of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, at Dorman Funeral Home.
On Thursday, March 25, 1937, Mary was born to Carrie Ferrell Chapman and Roy Chapman.
Mary was a faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church and loved worshipping God. She was always available with a helping hand. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed, by those who knew and loved her.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Carrie Chapman; husband, Earnest Paul Brown; son, Kenneth Eugene Brown; and grandson, Michael Anthony Brown.
Those left to cherish Mary’s memory are her children, Starla Kay Nance and husband, Eugene Nance, Bobby Lee Brown and wife, Coleen Brown, and James Edward Brown; Grandchildren, Christopher Lee, Matthew Lee, Christie Shipp, Matthew Ackin, Shaun Ackin, Crystal Brown, Amanda Brown, Samuel Brown, and Rachel Brown; Great-Grandchildren, Evan Lee, Dylan Lee, Logan Nance, Ashley Shipp, Katherine Shipp, Lola Shipp, Nicholas Shipp, Kanon Shipp, Jaze Ackin, Brianna Ackin, Braden Ackin, Cordelia Ackin, Donovan Ackin, Brayden Brown, Treyton Brown, and Sylas Robear; and numerous members of extended family, and friends.
