The 4A Regional Track Meet began Friday on a windy day at Bullard HS. Some field events and running prelims were held. The top two advance to State. In the running prelims, the top eight advance to the running finals on Saturday.
Besides the running finals Saturday, field events include defending state champ Raegan Stephenson of Vidor in the high jump, along with girls shot put and triple jump. Also boys high jump, triple jump, and shot put.
Orange County qualified for the running finals in seven events, lead by Vidor hurdler Blake Richards in both the 110 & 300 hurdles, and LCM’s Dinah Tippins who qualified in the 200 and the Lady Bears 4×200.
Personal bests were set by Vidor’s Madison Powell (also school record), Paisley Angelle in the 100H (also school record), Blake Richards in the 110H and 300H, and Shay Stacy in the 300H.

Orangefield had several athletes competing in the 3A Reg. 3 Meet in Waco. Zach Morrow qualified for State by winning the pole vault with a jump of 14-9. Also, Natalie Black(200M) and Mason Manning (100M) qualified for finals Saturday.
