The Bridge City High School Strutters officers won the national championship for the Nashville Crowd Pleasers Dance competition held in Nashville, Tennessee. The whole team was named first runner-up in the championship and received the academic award for the team with the highest GPA. Traylor Tran won first place in ninth grade solo performance and Brooklyn Landry won first place tenth grade solo performance.

The Bridge City Middle School Cardinal Kickers dance team competed in Galveston, Texas over the weekend, and ended their debut competition season as National Champions! This is the first competitive middle school dance team in BCISD school history. Their awards and achievements are as follows:
•Officer Contemporary- High Platinum, judges awards for “Outstanding Choreography” and “Outstanding Performance Quality.” Category WINNER
•Officer Novelty- High Platinum, judges awards for “Outstanding Choreography” and “Outstanding Performance Quality.” Category WINNER
•Team Contemporary- High Platinum, judges award for “Outstanding Choreography.” Category WINNER
•Team Jazz- High Platinum, judges award for “Outstanding Choreography.” Category WINNER

•Team Academic Award for outstanding overall team GPA
