The Celebration of Life for Mr. Damian Lamor Bourgeois, Sr., 49 of Orange, will be Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 10am at Salem United Methodist Church under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 9 until 10am.
Damian was born in Orange on January 3, 1975, to Bonnie (Smith) Bourgeois and Antonio Bourgeois, Jr.
Raised and educated here, graduating from West Orange-Stark High school in 1994, he was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Male Chorus at Salem.
Also known as “Big Boo,” he was employed by Hotard Coaches, Inc. as a mechanic.
He is survived by three sons, Damien Bourgeois, Jr. (Miriam) of Orange, DaMarcus Bourgeois (Kayde) with the U.S. Army in Killeen, TX and Alton Lewis, of Orange, one daughter, Jasmine Brown (Deandra) of Houston, TX and one sister, Neysa Thibodeaux of Beaumont, TX and one grandchild. Also, nephews Darryl Bourgeois, Jr., Antonio Bourgeois, lV and Ollie Bourgeois, nieces Chayanne Bourgeois, Maya Bourgeois and Antonia Bourgeois and sister-in-law, Andrea Bourgeois.
