Tuesday night the LCM Softball Field was renamed Pete Mota Field for a longtime fan of the LCM Bears. During the ceremony it was said, “May this field serve as a reminder of the impact one person can have on the lives of others and the power of sports to unite us all as a community.”
The LCM School Board voted back in October to name the field after Mota. A story on Mota appeared on KOGT.com after the vote and can be read here.
