Wilmer Mae Linscomb, age 91, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, in Silsbee, Texas. Services to honor Wilma will be held at Dorman Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 8, 2024. Chaplain Steve Kidwell, will be officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at King’s Cemetery.
Wilmer was born Saturday, October 15, 1932, to proud parents Neil and Sarah Linscomb, in Hartburg, Texas. She found great pleasure in gardening, catching a fish, dancing with joy, making a candle to light the nights and playing a mean game of dominos. Her love, laughter and advice will be forever cherished and never forgotten.
Preceding Wilmer in death is her parents Neil and Sarah Linscomb; son, Frank “Ray” Lormand; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Bessie Linscomb, James and Georgia Linscomb, Floyd, and Mary Linscomb, Earnest and Evie Linscomb, Wesley and Evie Linscomb; and sister and brother in law Emily and J.R. Ferguson
Wilmer is survived by her daughter Josie Smith and husband Greg; grandchildren, Sarah Almand and Jeff Wilkerson and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
