
Clifford Couch, 71, of Mauriceville, passed away peacefully at his home on January 9, 2024, after fighting a brave 10-year battle with kidney cancer.
Born in Holton, Kansas, on August 20, 1952, he was the son of Richard Couch and Nellie (Vanderslice) Couch. Clifford courageously served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a car enthusiast and a jack of all trades. Clifford enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, and dancing. He was a caring father and shared an amazing life with his beloved wife of 45 years, with a devotion and love to be admired. Clifford will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nellie Couch.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannette Couch; daughter, Dawn Avery of Kansas; sister-in-law, Beverly Holderman; brother-in-law, Nolan, Alvin and Ralph Foreman of Orange; brothers-in-law, Nathan Foreman and wife Betty of Crystal Beach; numerous nieces and nephews; and brother Bruce Couch and wife Karen of Kansas.
There will be no service, rather than flowers/plants, the family suggest making a donation to cancer research.
