
Jaden Williams was sentenced to prison for 40 years Thursday by Judge Steve Parkhurst after he was found guilty of murdering a former friend.
The now 20 year old shot and killed 23 year old Isaac Adams in the street. The shooting took place on Broussard Circle. Below is the story written on KOGT.com when the crime happened back in April.

A 20-year-old man from Orange has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for an April 2023 fatal shooing in Orange.
Jaden Williams, 20, of Orange, was sentenced Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, by 260th District Judge Steve Parkhurst to 40 years in prison for the shooting death of Isaac Adams, 23, of Orange.
On Friday, April 28, 2023, around 12:30pm, deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 5600 block of Broussard Circle in Orange in reference to a shooting. When deputies arrived, they discovered a male victim lying near the edge of the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was identified as Isaac Adams 23 years of age from Orange.
During this time, the alleged perpetrator who was also on scene was taken into custody. He is identified as Jaden Williams 19 years of age also from Orange. This shooting appears to be the result of a disturbance the two males were having just prior to the incident.
Williams was transported to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Jail where he was initially charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont for emergency medical treatment.
On Saturday, April 29th, the victim (Adams) died as a result of the gunshot while at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Investigators immediately upgraded Williams’ charge to Murder. Williams remains in custody at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
