Every two years the UIL realigns the districts and those decisions are made based on the enrollment number the schools turn in on what is known as Snapshot Day. Today is that day. After all the numbers are turned in the UIL will release cutoff numbers for each classification and then in February they will release the new district realignments for the next two years.
Bridge City could be the one school that could be moving up in football from Division II to Division I based on their increase and cutoff numbers from last realignment. Based on the history of the realignments, the numbers go up slightly from the previous two years. Below are the current 2022-24 numbers.
