Tuesday was the final day of the regular season but there is still some work to be done before the playoffs begin.
In 4A, BC, Vidor and Lumberton are all tied for first. BC and Lumberton will play Thursday at LCM at 6:30. The loser will be the third seed. The winner will play Vidor Friday to decided first and second.
In 3A Orangefield will also be involved in a seeding tournament, TBA.

Tuesday LCM traveled to Silsbee and won in three: 25-17, 25-15, 25-12 to finish the regular season 24-16 (8-4 in district). Stat leaders were: Kills: Paisley Angelle 9, Lindi Perry 7, Ava White and Asia Woodson 6, Amaya Meadows 2, and Jazel Guilbeaux 1. Blocks: Asia Woodson 3, Jazel Guilbeaux and Lindi Perry 2, Amaya Meadows and Paisley Angelle 1. Assists: Addi Russell 15, Jada Montagne 12, Amaya Meadows, Lexi Tubbleville, and Ava White all with 1. Aces: Jada Montagne and Asia Woodson 2, Paisley Angelle, Addie Russell and Ava White with 1. The Bears will represent the district as the four seed in the playoffs and will play Huffman in the bi-district round.
Lady Bears freshmen won in two tonight to finish the season 27-7 (11-0 in district). JV won in three to finish the season 33-4 (11-0 in district).

Vidor went to Jasper and won 25-11, 25-18, 25-8. Depending on what happens Friday, the Lady Pirates will face either H-Jefferson or Splendora in the first round.

The Lady Bobcats traveled to Anahuac to take on the Lady Panthers tonight and are coming home with the sweep! The Lady Bobcats won a 5 set match to take a share in the District Championship for the first time since 2012! Scores were 25-20, 20-25, 15-25, 25-22, and 15-5. The Freshman got the night started with a two set win 25-23 and 25-23. They finish their district season 10-2. The JV won in straight sets as well 35-13 and 25-11. They finish their district season 13-1.
