The Deweyville Pirates improved to 3-0 on the season with a 72-18 win at West Hardin.
It was another big night on the ground for the Pirates with 482 yards on 57 carries. CJ Milton was the leading rusher Friday with 151 on 11 carries and 3TD’s.
But right behind him was Kallel Crooks who had 101 on 9 carries and 2TD’s. Elijah Curl had 96 on 14 totes.
Also Javin Brown had 52 on 7 carries and 1TD, Hayden Collins had 40 on 9 carries and 2 TD’s, Kaleb Pearl had 12 on 2 carries and 1TD, and Gunner Evans had 11 on 2 carries and 1 TD.
“Our offensive line is getting better every week,” said Coach Brandon Prouse. “I’m proud of how the boys played against the Oilers.”
Deweyville will play Acadiana Christian out of Louisiana on Friday.
