For the second week the Deweyville Pirates gave their fans their money’s worth with a 44-38 win over Cushing.
The ground and pound Pirates rolled up 384 yds. on 56 carries. They were lead once again by Elijah Curl who had 187 yds. on 27 carries and three scores.
CJ Milton also had a great game with 13 carries for 108 yds. and a TD. He also had a 69 yd. scoop and score.
Kallel Crooks had 8 carries for 50 yds. and a TD. Hayden Collins ran 5 times for 24 and also had an interception.
The Pirates go to West Hardin next week.
