On Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:46 pm, Beaumont Police responded to Baptist Hospital in reference to a theft of an ambulance operated by City Ambulance Service. The ambulance service was able to track the vehicle via gps and it showed to be in Bridge City. BPD notified Bridge City PD and their officers located the ambulance at the corner of Roundbunch and FM 408 and took the suspect into custody. The suspect is identified as 38 year old, Michael Paul Aslany of Orange. Aslany was arrested by Bridge City PD and transported to the Orange County Jail. The ambulance was returned to City Ambulance Service.
