A Celebration of Vickie Newman Toal’s Life, age 72, of Beech Grove, Texas, will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas with burial to follow at Sanders Cemetery near Beech Grove, Texas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Vickie passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Texas. A native of Jasper, Texas and a former resident of Orange, Texas for 35 years, Vickie moved back to the Beech Grove
Community of Jasper about 6 years ago. She graduated from Jasper High School in 1969 and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas. She was a longtime member of the Sunset Grove country club and a member of the One More Club of Orange, Texas. She enjoyed playing golf and
shopping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Vickie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Tom Toal of Beech Grove, Texas; daughter, Kimberly Toal Roth and husband Robert of Conroe, Texas; brother, Mitchel Newman and special sister Debbie of Jasper, Texas; grandson, Riley Roth; nieces and nephews, Prissy Leonard, Nella Newman, Willie Bubba Newman, Logan Robards, Katie Robards; great nieces and nephews, Fancy Followwill, Lacy Pinkerman, Sam Moake and Katie Newman and four great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Verna Newman and her brother, William David Newman. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children
