Past District Governor Randall Morris of the Orange Lions Club was inducted to the Texas Lions Hall of Fame at the Lions State Convention held in Fort Worth in May.
PDG Randall joined the Dallas Skyline Lions Club in District 2-X1 in 1974.
In District 2-X1 he served as President on the President Executive Council, Region Chair, Zone Chair and State Convention Committee. He served as District Secretary and as District Governor in 1998-1999.
PDG Randall moved to Orange Tx. in 2000 and joined the Orange Lions Club of District 2-S1. He has served Orange Lions Club as Club Secretary and Treasurer and selected Lion of Year in 2009 and 2018. His service to the Orange Lions Club also includes the Carnival Committee, White Cane Committee, delivering food baskets and volunteers yearly with the Salvation Army as well as the workdays at the Texas Lions Camp.
Lion Randall has served as District 2-S1 as District Secretary 2000 to present He has served as President of the Lions Eye Bank of Texas 2018 -2019 and President of the Lions Foundation for Sight 2013-2015. He has served on the MD-2 State Texas Lions State Museum and Foundation and as State President of Past District Governors Association in 2004-05.
Lion Randall has been as a member of Lions Clubs International for 49years with perfect attendance. He has been awarded 7 International President’s Certificates of Appreciation, International Presidents Leadership Medal and International Presidents Metal. Also received a Melvin Jones Fellow ( Founder of Lions Clubs International) and Jack Weich Fellow ( Founder of Texas Lions Camp).
PDG Randall’s service to country and community includes a four-year tour in the US Army with a year in Korea.
