The Lady Bobcats defeated Central Heights 5-0 in a one game playoff in Jasper.
Abigail Curphey got the win on the mound tossing a complete-game shutout, her fifth shutout of the season. Curphey allowed zero runs on two hits with 7 strikeouts.
The 22-3A Champs tallied ten hits. Curphey, Harleigh Rawls, Emily Meyers and Charlee Sanches each managed two hits to lead the Lady Bobcats. Aubree Beck had a walk and an RBI. Hallee Becker drove in two in the sixth. Curphey and Alysen Vincent both had RBIs.
The Lady Bobcats pick up their 23rd win of the season and will face Coldspring in the area round, TBA.

LCM 11 Hawks 0
After losing to Hardin-Jefferson 3-2 on Friday, the LCM Lady Bears came back with a strong performance on Saturday to force a Game 3.
Ella Stephenson threw a no-hitter as the Bears beat the Hawks 11-0 in five innings in a game played in Buna. She struck out 7 while also doubling in two runs at the plate.
The 19-4A Champs had 13 hits including a 3 run homer from Keylie Washburn and another bomb from Tessa Erickson (2-3, 3RBI). Eden Frenzel, Lexis Moss, and Ansley Moore all had two hits each as every started had at least one hit. Game Three is Monday at Lamar at 6pm.

Deweyville vs WSabine
Deweyville faced West Sabine in a doubleheader in Jasper. In Game One, each team scored a run in the seventh inning to send the game into extra innings. In the bottom of the eighth the Tigers scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly for a 6-5 win.
In Game Two the Lady Pirates got the 3-1 win scoring all three in the third. Baylee Smith singled in Pressley Clark and Haley Williams who reached on walks. Then Hadyn Williams grounded out to score Smith from third.
Smith was excellent in the circle, striking out 26 in the two games, topping the 200K mark for the season. Game 3 is Monday at 6pm back in Jasper.

Vidor 2 H-F 7
After splitting their first two games with Hamshire-Fannett, Saturday was Gm. 3 at Lamar. With the game tied at two in the fifth, HF scored five runs including an Olivia Moore grand slam. The Pirates outhit the Horns 8-6, including two each from Natalie Morrison and Mallory Guillot.

BC 4 Huffman 11
The two split a doubleheader on Friday and played Gm. 3 Saturday in Anahuac. The Falcons came out swinging as they built a 6-1 lead after two innings. Four errors didn’t help the Lady Cards. Catcher Haley Munoz was 3-4 at the plate for BC.

Kountze beat Huntington 8-2, 5-4 and will play East Bernard next.
Diboll eliminated Kirbyville in three games.
