Constable Lannie Claybar reported that a Game Room just north of LCM High School was shutdown on December 9.
“Today at 1:30 p.m., I met with Orange Co. Code Compliance Deputy Director James Scales at LCM Mart, 8270 State Hwy. 87 N regarding possible game room permit violations. This was based on citizen complaints,” Claybar said.
“Upon arrival, we met with the clerk and we explained the reason for our arrival. He was cooperative and confirmed there were gaming machines on site. He directed us to a side room south of the main floor. The room was unoccupied, but we observed a total of six (6) activated gaming machines inside.
We had prior knowledge that no relevant permits had been issued for this location. The game room was then closed pending further investigation.”
