The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary A. Thibodeaux, 76, of Anchorage, AK, a former Orange resident, will be Monday, November 7, 2022, at 11am at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11am.
Mary Alice Thibodeaux was born July 18, 1946, in Orange, Texas to Mr. Ivory and Mrs. Helen Frederick.
Orange, Texas is where she met the love of her life, James Bredwell Thibodeaux. They raised their family there and built a wonderful life and legacy together, until he was called home on October 22, 2020.
Mary loved her family and welcomed all to her home with open arms and a warm smile. She prayed over her family continually and ensured they all knew and loved the Lord.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when needed. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Orange, Texas.
Mary Alice was called home to be with the Lord and reunited with James on October 22, 2022, having been surrounded by family and covered in love.
Mary Alice is survived by her three children, Rhonda Bevil of Beaumont, TX, Stephanie Duchatellier (Serge) of Anchorage, AK, and James C. Thibodeaux (Eritrea) of Orange, Texas, her sister, Betty Frederick Jackson of Brookshire, TX, two brothers, Rev. Ivory Frederick Jr. (Diana) of Houston, TX, and Rev. Robert Frederick (Drexell) of Tyler, TX, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
