
The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Precious Joy King, 43, of Orange, will be Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 3pm at the El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 until 3 pm.
Precious Joy King was born December 27, 1978, in Orange, Texas to Ruby Johnson King and Ed King.
Raised in the church, for a number of years she attended the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. In later years she joined the El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
A graduate of West Orange-Stark High School, she was in the “Class of 97”.
She was employed as a Caregiver serving in a Group Home.
Precious had an angelic voice, was big on family and loved her children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents Mary and Albert King and Leotha and Alfred Douglas.
The summons from life to life eternal came February 22, 2022, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.
Forever cherishing her memory are her husband, Anthony Crawford of Orange, son, Mandel Turner-King and daughter, Malayiah Amerson, both of Orange, step-children, Anthony Crawford, Jr. and Kema Crawford, two brothers, Jackie King of Woodville, TX and Jelmar Broussard of Baton Rouge, LA, four sisters, Mattie Williams of San Antonio TX and Arma Lee King and Peggy Bean (James) both of Woodville, TX and Raquel Judge of Orange, aunt, Mary Cross of Orange, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
