The LCM Lady Bears opened the 4A basketball playoffs with a 61-30 win over Livingston Monday night at East Chambers High School.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats ran into a very good Hardin-Jefferson team, losing 101-33, ending the Bobcats season after a fourth place finish in 22-4A. HJ will play Navasota in the second round.
