Water temperature in the main lake is 49 degrees and further back up in the creeks is 43 degrees. Largemouth bass have been scattered due to varying weather patterns. It’s still winter in East Texas with another cold front coming in this weekend. It’s forecasted to be as low as 19 degrees after sundown this weekend so the fish better have their long johns on! The white bass are staging in the Logansport area. Kayakers are catching bass using a half ounce chrome/blue back, gold/black back, occasionally a fish or two on a three-eighth ounce white/chartreuse spinnerbait in 2-6 feet of water. No catfish bites were reported this week. February and March are excellent months for a Big Bass on TBend. Good luck and tight lines!
