The Celebration of Life for Mr. Rudolph Bell, 84, of Vinton, LA, will be Friday, February 4, 2022, at 11am at the Morning Star Baptist Church in Vinton.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow at Hollywood Community Cemetery in Orange, TX under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 until 11am.
Rudolph Bell was born to Tessie Byrd Bell and William Bell, May 19, 1937, in Tenaha, Texas.
He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was baptized at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Orange. After moving to Vinton, due to his health, he united with Temple of Praise Church. He later became a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church of Vinton.
A U.S. Army Veteran, , he was Discharged With Honors.
The Equitable Bag Company of Orange employed him for some 45 years; he was the first African American Supervisor at the company.
His summons from life-to-life eternal came January 25, 2022, at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home in Jennings, LA.
Forever cherishing his memory are the love of his life, his wife of 59 years, Delores Bell, sons, Rudolph Bell (Elaine), Adrian Bell (Yasmine) and Dwayne Bell (Jamila), sister, Deborah Guillory, brother, Marvin Roberts and play daughter, Monique Victorian.
