Benjamin “Bennie” Williford, 85, of Orange, slipped these earthly bonds Friday, December 10, 2021, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on April 14, 1936, in Hicksbaugh, Texas, to Lillian Gruene and Orland Virgil Williford.
Bennie was retired from and former owner of W&E Service Company in Spurger, after over thirty plus years of employment. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching old westerns.
Bennie will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw.
He is survived by his daughter, Janice Williford Evans and her husband, David, of Trinity; sons, Louis Williford and his wife, Kim, of Orange and Kent Williford and his wife, Eliza, of Silsbee; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Rayburn Williford, of Jasper and O.V. Williford and his wife, Vonnye, of Mauriceville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Bennie is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother of his children, Mary Nell Collins Williford; his wife of thirty-three years, Sandra Williford; grandson, Chris Evans; sisters, Earlene Horne and Alice Miller; brother, Virgil Williford.
A graveside service for Mr. Williford will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Fellowship Cemetery, Warren, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Please observe social distancing guidelines.
