
After a difficult battle with COPD, Brenda Carol English Garcia passed away peacefully on September 15, 2021 with her daughters Julie and Laura by her side in Spring Branch, Texas.
Brenda was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 4, 1950. She was a Christian and she loved her family and friends dearly. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, James Clifton and Hattie Mae English and her brother Charles English.
She leaves behind husband, Jim Garcia of Buna, Texas, daughters and sons in law Laura Ferguson Galindo and husband Joel of San Antonio, Texas, Julie Ferguson English and husband Jeremy of Spring Branch, Texas and Charla Reed of Floral City, Florida. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jessica and husband Thomas Townsend of Katy, Texas, Joel Jr. Galindo and Victoria Terrasas of Pearland, Texas, Jaelen Galindo of San Antonio, Texas; Tate Ferguson and Jonas English of Spring Branch, Texas; Alex Hidalgo of Bridge City, Texas, and MKenzie Holloway and husband Kade of Orange, Texas; sons Jacob Garcia and family of Corpus Christi and James Garcia and family of Bishop, Texas. Brenda had one great grandchild, Hayden Holloway of Orange, Texas.
Her surviving sisters include Darlene West and husband Wesley of Sachse, Texas, Joanna Brockman and husband Don of Buna, Texas, Shirley McKinney of Buna, Texas and Janette Bobbitt of Pasadena, Texas.
