Shane Book, 62, beloved Father and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 in the comfort of his own home.
Born in Orange, TX on January 16, 1959, Tobin Shane Book was the son of Kenneth Book and Cora Lee Fowler-Book and a graduate of West Orange High School. He loved all things racing, playing disc-golf and picking away on his guitar. Most days he could be found tinkering in his garage and working with his hands. He was a gifted carpenter and artist, yet his greatest accomplishments were his grandkids whom adored him and called him “Daddaw”.
Shane is preceded in death by his parents Ken and Cora Lee Book, his nephew Jamie Allen and several other loving family members.
Left to cherish his wonderful memory is his son Michael Dane Book of Spring; daughter Keisha Nichole Finto (David) of New Braunfels; sisters Cindy Allen (Jim) of Katy, Kandi Johnston (Dale) of Orange; nephews Jeffery Book (Becky) and Kris Johnston (Katie) of Orange and grandkids Morgan Finto, Ian Finto, Jordan Finto and Aubrey Book.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor privately among his closest family and friends.
