Misty Songe will be the new Mayor in Vidor after easily winning her runoff Saturday with 63 percent of the vote.
Songe, a councilwoman, was being challenged by Ronnie Herrera. Songe collected 456 votes to Herrera’s 266. On election day Saturday Songe tallied an 113-83 edge.
