The Stark Museum of Art will open a new exhibition “Boehm Birds: Family Gatherings” on Wednesday, April 21, and will remain on view through Saturday, June 19, 2021.
“Boehm Birds: Family Gatherings” presents a selection of birds by Edward Marshall Boehm and his company Boehm Porcelain from the Stark Museum’s collection. This exhibit will be on view in Hallway 3. The eighteen different species of birds are grouped according to their scientific families. The exhibit will include hummingbirds, jays, warblers, and other species. One new acquisition, “Allen’s Hummingbird with Iris” will be featured, and the exhibit will include other porcelains that have not previously been on view at the Museum.
