
Eddie Dale Barlow, Jr. went to his heavenly reward on November 2, 2020. He was born June 7, 1974 in Sulphur, La to Eddie Dale Barlow, Sr. and Aletha Frazee Jackson. In his younger years he lived in Starks, La and moved to Orange, Tx during his high school years. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. where he was a communication technician. Upon his return home he was employed as a crane operator and a skilled carpenter.
Eddie’s greatest loves in life were his family, cooking, ripping lips (fishing), guitar picking, and hunting. He loved to cook dishes such as Carolina pulled pork and slaw and share with neighbors and friends. Many memories were made with him playing his guitar around a campfire or in a shed somewhere. His love of music and fishing were his therapy for whatever situation he faced. Eddie’s servant heart was only matched by his beautiful soul.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Pejoe and Betty Jo Barlow and Alton and Esther Frazee. He is also joining his relatives Dee Hodgkinson, Sondi Kartman, Mikey, Jody and Derrick Barlow and others in his mansion above.
His proudest accomplishments in life were his children, Dale and Kyrstan Barlow, Jordon Boqb Letulle and of course, his grandson, Thomas McCurry. Eddie is survived by his parents, Eddie Dale Barlow, Sr (Bertha) and Aletha Frazee Jackson (Curtis). He leaves behind brothers, Trent Barlow, Jarrod Barlow (Brandi), Dustin Barlow (Kellie), and Chuck Ozan (Mandi). There are many many more nephews/nieces, great nephews/nieces, cousins, family, and friends that will continue to have memories and remember this gentle giant in the days ahead.
There will be a Life Celebration on November 15, 2020 from 12-3 PM at the Starks VFW Hall in Starks, La. Please come and share memories, a meal, and music to honor Eddie. Eddie, we will miss you, continue to love you and keep your memories alive in our hearts and conversations in the years to come. Rest in Paradise until we see you again.
