Few property investments were made in the city of Orange during August, according to building permits. More demolition permits were issued than permits for value.
The city had the most valuable permit with an $85,000 fence around the Boat Ramp and the new entertainment pavilion. The contractor was A-1 American Fence.
The other commercial permit was to First Financial Bank, 912 16th Street, for $3,500 to build a concrete pad for a generator.
Demolition permits were issued for buildings at 1205 14th Street, 1724 Gans, 1101 Ninth Street, and 1207 Burton Avenue.
The city reported no residential permits with any value.
