Sue Carolyn Sulsar left this earth in the company of angels, 13 August, 2020. The heavens are a lot brighter lit with her million watt smile.
Sue was the first of five beloved children born to Lewis Warren and Elizabeth Hope Sulsar. She was the fierce protector of her younger siblings and the famous Aunt Sue to their children. Sue never met a stranger, two or four legged.
Sue graduated from Lutcher Stark High School in Orange and was a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont. She went on to a career with Gulf Oil Chemical, later Chevron and then to Cuero, Texas, where she was a founding member of the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum and served on its Board of Directors until 2019. Sue was a realtor with Texas Country Real Estate when she retired in 2019, to Weatherford, Texas, to be close to her family, but leaving a family of friends in Cuero.
Sue leaves her brothers, Mike, wife Phyllis, of Orange, Randy, wife Julia, of Elgin, Barry of Fort Worth, and baby sister Beth, husband Curtis Molder, of Weatherford. She leaves nieces, nephews, a grandnephew and a host of cousins. All of us will miss Sue.
Memorials in Sue’s honor may be made to The Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum or Pet Adoptions of Cuero, both dear to Sue’s heart.
Graveside services will be held at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange at a later date.
