Bobby Hamilton, age 58, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Funeral services will be held at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2020.
Bobby was born in Burderop RAF, Wiltshire, England on Friday, April 27, 1962, to parents, Shirley Ann (Edmunds) and Milton C. Hamilton. He was a longtime resident of Orange, Texas where he was known by many. Bobby was a family man who enjoyed quality time with them every chance that he got. BBQ’s and hanging out with family were his favorite thing to do. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. Bobby was always the “favorite uncle” and never let anyone forget it. He was an extremely hard worker and was always willing to help anyone and would even give them the shirt off his back if they needed it. He loved the outdoors no matter what he was doing but he particularly enjoyed tinkering with and fixing things. Bobby and his twin, Barry, were very close and made many wonderful memories together.
Bobby was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, unlce, and wonderful friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Bobby is survived by his loving son, Robert Keith Hamilton, daughter Melinda Gayle Elliott; brothers, William G. Hamilton, Milton C. Hamilton, as well as, twin brother and lifetime best friend, Barry Hamilton and wife Karla; sisters, Clare Shelton and husband Ricky Williams, as well as, Susan E. McPherson and husband Steve; Stepfather Ed Edwards and wife Myra Edwards; 4 Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Edwards and Milton Hamilton.
