
The Sabine River Authority Monday morning has opened 11 gates two feet each at Toledo Bend Reservoir The lake level at 4 a.m. was 172.81. Federal regulations require gates to open at 172.5 feet.
One generator is working and the is currently down. With the gates and one generator, the dam is releasing a total 28,225 cubic feet of water per second.
The Sabine River at Deweyville this morning is slightly below flood level at 23.8 feet. As of this post it’s predicted the river will reach 25 feet before going down.
UPDATE: At the end of the day the gates had been closed to one foot each with CFS at 25,200.
