Cynthia Ann King, age 60 of Orange, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. A memorial service to honor Cynthia’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel.
Cynthia was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 18, 1959. She enjoyed doing craft and she had a passion for baking and was always baking special cakes for her coworkers and friends. She loved spending time with her sweet little dog, Oliver. Cynthia was a cancer survivor. She worked for many years as the head cashier for Home Depot. She loved her job and coworkers and thought of them as family.
She is preceded in death by husband Santiago Prieto, son Brian King, her daughter Denise Beck, a brother Joe Beck and grandson Juan Prieto.
Survivors include her Home Depot Family and HER GIRLS Cheyenne Cole and Katie Gilmore, her mother Mary Diaz, step-daughter Querida “Cory” Prieto, brothers; Kenny Beck, Jeff Pierce and George Beck, sister Theresa Griffith, two grandchildren Santiana Prieto and Angel Prieto.
