New water and sewer rates go into effect in January 2020 for the Orangefield Water Supply Corporation (OWSC). Copies of the new rates are available at the OWSC located on FM 105 across the street from the Orangefield School District Administration building.
Currently customers in the Orangefield Water Supply Corporation pay a base rate of $34.75 for water and $36.75 for sewer with a minimum usage of 2,999 gallons for both. Starting in January the base rate will change to $37.75 for water and $40.75 for sewer.
The increment rate will also change. Current fees are shown below with the fees beginning January 1, 2020.
