The Combined WOS JV defeated the Hardin-Jefferson JV 22-0. 8-0 Jalen Brown caught a 33 yard TD pass from Dakarion Judge (2 point play Good). 15-0 Dakarion Judge ran a 42 yard punt back for a TD. (Extra point good by Cristian Quiteno-Polio). 22-0 Clint Williams scored on a 40 yard TD run. (Extra point good by Cristian Quiteno-Polio) Offensive Standouts: Jacoby Breed, Isaac Medina, Dakarion Judge Defensive Standouts: Cameron Judge, Deshawn Brunson.
The BC 8th grade football team played Lumberton Tuesday night. The White team tied Lumberton 0-0, bringing their record to 4-1-1 for the year. The Red team lost by a score of 18-7. Jamel Charles ran back a fumble 60 yards for a touchdown. Defensively Jamel Charles, Lincoln Breax, Nick Lejeune, and Ayden Galvin played well defensively.
The BC 7th grade teams traveled to Lumberton to play the Raiders on Tuesday. The white team fell to the Raiders 28-0. The offense was led by Chris Johnson, Kasen Watts, and Ethan Tayloe. The defense was led by Tommy Walpole, and Dylan Dixon. The red team lost a hard fought battle 12-0. The offense was led by Austin Bellanger, Hutch Bearden, Tad Knapp, Landon Patten, Ethan Peet, and Erick Carranza. Leading the charge on defense was Jared Cox, Judd Cutchins, Dax Latiolais, Landon Patten, Ethan Peet, and Merik Aras.
The Cardinals will play Livingston next Tuesday, the 8th grade teams will host the Lions while the 7th grade teams will travel to Livingston JH.
Thursday night WOSMS played Hardin Jefferson.
Combined B team won 24-8. Taydren Perrault had one rushing TD and one fumble recovery for a TD. Javarr Minifee ran a kickoff back for a TD. Other standouts are Keythen Windom, Damonta Huff, and Anthony Pinkney.
7th grade A team won 22-6.
Raymon Mallett rushed for two touchdowns . And Tahj Amerson rushed for one, The defense played outstanding all night with Lucas Hardy, Raymon Mallett, Taylor Jacobs, Denim Orebo, Jeffery Ryas, and Carter Eglin leading the way.
8th grade A team won 38-0.
Jalen Gilmore rushed for 4 touchdowns. Chris Jones connected with Nick Crosson on a long pass for another Touchdown. Andrew Cooper, Derrick Williams, and Andre’von Thomas were all standouts on both sides of the ball. Both offensive and defensive lines played great
