According to meteorologist Roger Erickson, the light white area is at least 20 inches and the bright white area from Winnie to Hamshire and Fannett in western Jefferson County is at least 40 inches. This event is unofficially the fifth wettest tropical cyclone in the continental US history. The wettest? Jefferson County with Harvey in 2017. Jefferson County TX also holds the 6th wettest with Allison from 2001.
