Valentin Catt will not be playing his senior year of basketball this season at Orangefield High School. Missing the Texas age requirements by two weeks according to his father, Catt will move to Florida for his senior season.
The 6-10 Catt came to OF last year and helped lead the Bobcats to their most successful season, advancing to the third round of the 3A playoffs and finishing with a 29-9 record.
Catt averaged 15 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. In the playoffs he was even better averaging 15-13-14 in their three games.
Catt will play at Potter’s House Christian Academy in Jacksonville where he will get a lot of exposure with a national schedule. He has not made any verbal commitments as to his college career. Good luck Val!
