
Barbara J. Nash, age 89 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in Vidor, Texas. Barbara was born on July 16, 1930 in Cato, Arkansas to Dollie Stivers Roberts and Jadie Roberts. She and her husband Marlin made their home in Ephrata, WA where they owned Nash Janitorial and the Sharlyn Motel. After Marlins death Barbara moved to Orange in 2004. Barbara was a bookkeeper and enjoyed doing crafts, playing Bingo and trips to the penny parlors.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Marlin Nash, son Michael Coates, step son Victor Nash, brothers; Adril Roberts, Jimmy Roberts, Aubrey Roberts and Don William Roberts and sisters; Annie Bowls, Bernice Riddle, Doris Hendrix, Mamie Blucker and Martha Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her five children; Don Coates and his wife Lorri of Moses Lake, WA, Nancy Ellard and her husband Dale of Orient, WA, Cecelia Reeves and her husband Loyd of Orange, TX, Paula Coates of Moses Lake, WA and Miriam Hughart and her husband Bryan of Grapevine, TX, step children; Lee Nash and his wife Crystal of Coeur D’ Alene, ID, Earl Nash and his wife Chris of Republic, WA and Beverly Mulvahill of Seattle, WA, one sister Charlotte Spencer and her husband Gary of White Heath, IL, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.
Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at Valley View Memorial Park in Soap Lake, WA at a later date.
