All local, state, and federal offices will be closed on Thursday for the Fourth of July.
The cities of Orange, Bridge City, and Vidor will have regular garbage pickup on Thursday. In Vidor, customers are asked to get the containers out by 6 in the morning.
Pinehurst and West Orange have weekly pickup on different days. Their schedules will remain the same.
The City of Orange is sponsoring a free family celebration event and fireworks show downtown at the Riverfront Pavilion that begins at 5 p.m.
Gregg Martinez and the Delta Kings will play from 7 to 9 p.m. and the fireworks will start at 9.
