Orange County will be represented at the State Track Meet in Austin on May 10-11.
LCM’s Eli Peveto, will compete in both the 1600 and 3200 after winning both events at Regional.
Orangefield’s Katelyn Helm set a Regional Meet record when she won the 800. She will also compete with the Bobcat 4×400 with Lily Saucedo, Victoria Welch and Jaslyn Newman. They finished second behind East Bernard.
Bridge City’s Caryss Carpenter jumped a personal best (5-5) while finishing second in the high jump.
