Logan Hamm struck out ten Bears as Bridge City beat Little Cypress-Mauriceville 5-1 to split the district series. It also keeps BC in a first place tie with Hardin-Jefferson with a game against the Hawks coming Tuesday in Sour Lake.
Three runs came in the second when Tanner Wilson drove in two and then scored himself on a throwing error. The Bears outhit the Cards 7-4 but left nine on base. LCM will host WOS on Thursday.
