Tuesday the Vidor Police Department hosted a promotional ceremony for Sargeant Thomas Meadows, Jr. They also swore in five new officers. They include Officer Victor Brian, Officer Dillon LaPoint, Officer Manny Castillo, Officer Bre Whitmer and Officer Nick Garsee.
The ceremony was held inside council chambers by Chief Rod Carroll.
