
With only seven on the roster the WOS Mustangs ran with state ranked Silsbee in the first half, but the Tigers were just too much in the second half, rolling to a 107-80 win at Mustang Gym. Nikai Arnold had 16 points. WOS was led by Terron Brown’s 27 points. WOS falls to 0-1 in district and will play in the EC Tournament starting Dec. 27.
LCM outscored Tarkington 68-40 with Braden Bridges leading the way with 29 and Jesse Doucette scoring 22. DJ Williams was also credited with taking three charges and leads with team with 30. The Bears will play in the Fredericksburg Tournament Dec. 27.
Bridge City defeated Evadale 60-40 and will host their own Christmas Tournament Dec. 28-29. Beau Martin lead BC with 15. Austin Richardson had 11, Kolten Weeks and Ethan Oceguera 10, and Noah McFarland added 6.
The Deweyville game vs. Community was cancelled by CCS. The Pirates will play in the Buffalo Tournament Dec. 27.
Vidor lost at Memorial 72-62. The Pirates (0-2) were lead by Gavin Jarrell’s 16 and Morgan Van Metre’s 13. Vidor will play in the BC Tournament.
GIRLS
BC defeated Hamshire-Fannett 36-31. The Cards (2-1) were led by Madison Fischer who scored 11 and Aspen Daniels who added 9. BC will play in the EC Tournament Dec. 27.
Vidor lost to Memorial 53-46.
WOS lost at Silsbee 67-27.
LCM defeated Evadale 55-23.
THURSDAY
The OF boys JH basketball team traveled to Warren went 3-0 on the night! 8th B won a nail bitter thanks to an excellent defensive game plan from Coach Stingray Montagne . 7th A had to battle back some tough calls to get the win. Leading scorer with a big night was Caleb Fregia with 19! 8th A won in another blowout fashion with a great game from Gavin PK and Cam Dischler. Bringing the boys record to 7-1 on the season.
