Gunshots were fired Monday evening at a house in the Ridgemont subdivision, but no one was injured. Orange police are trying to piece together what happened. Detective Captain Robert Enmon said people have given “wildly conflicting stories.”
Police were called to the 3700 block of Ridgemont Drive about 5:40 p.m. Enmon said a man living in the house said he fired at a man at his door. He told officers the man was coming to assault him.
Enmon said investigators have not been able to tell whether the man at the door intended to do anything wrong. Four shots were fired at someone at the door, he said. “Some witnesses are cooperating and some are not,” he said.
