The Orange County District Attorney’s Office is holding a walk at noon Thursday to draw attention to the problem of domestic violence.
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month to focus on the problem and to let victims know that someone will listen to them.
People wanting to participate in the short walk should meet in front of the Orange County Courthouse. If possible, they should wear purple, the color designated for Domestic Violence Awareness.
The DA’s office is using the slogan “Love Shouldn’t Hurt.”
