Tied at the half at 12, the Deweyville Pirates came up short in a hard fought game against Shelbyville 34-26. Deweyville’s leading rusher was Lance Wilhelm with 132 yards on 24 carries and a TD. Keevin Gordon also had a good night running the ball with 83 yards on 9 carries and a TD. Gordon was 3 for 5 passing for 29 yards and TD completion to Tanner Breaux from 3 yards out. Dillon Fears had the other score for the Pirates. This week the Pirates will host Hull Daisetta for Homecoming at 7:00PM.
