On September 16, 2018, at 2:50 P.M., officers were dispatched to the area of the 1100 block of 11th Street, in reference to shots fired. The 9-1-1 caller advised several shots were heard in the area. Upon arrival, officers met with several people, including one male subject who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. Detectives and Identification Technicians arrived on scene and an investigation was begun. The injured person was treated on scene and was transported to a Beaumont hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
