
Police are looking for this man who broke into the Dollar General Store at 3024 16th Street early Monday morning. An alarm alerted police about 4 a.m. The man got inside by forcing open the back door and took several items. Call the OPD Detectives Division at 883-1095 if you can identify this thief.
A burglar hit several vehicles Monday night in the Oak Creek Village subdivision off Meeks Drive. Orange police said a window was broken in one, but the others were left unlocked. The police department has released a surveillance video of a man shining a flashlight into an SUV. Anyone who can identify the man should contact the Orange Police Department.

A 56-year-old man in Navy Park was taken by ambulance to an area hospital after men kicked open his front door and beat him with part of the trim from the doorway. He was hit in the head, the torso and upper hip area. Police were called at 1:21 a.m. Monday to a house in the 500 block of Knox Avenue. Detective Captain Robert Enmon said the victim knows the men who beat him.
Two gunshots hit a house in Roselawn Monday evening, but no one was hurt. Orange police went to the 500 block of Gardenia Street at 6:17 p.m. after a call about gunshots. Officers reported seeing several people standing outside, however no suspect was found.
