Tuesday afternoon around 4pm a woman pulled up to the Quick Lane area at Sabine River Ford but instead of pushing the brake she hit the gas pedal and drove through the front of the store.
The woman was uninjured but the attendant got pinned between the counter and the wall and she was taken to the hospital for xrays on her foot. Pamela Willey was standing in front of the counter but was able to get out of harms way just in time. “I found out this 58 year old can still move,” she said. “But I’m sure I’ll be sore in the morning.”
SRF Manager Jim Surber said he was glad and surprised it wasn’t worse considering the damage.
